Healthy Policies Toolkit:

Establishing healthy habits in early childhood

Ensuring that your program follows consistent, healthy practices will help your children develop healthful habits. Healthy policies also provide specific standards for staff and families to follow, creating an environment that supports healthy behaviors.

The Healthy Policies Toolkit was designed to present key information about why the seven model nutrition policies and three model physical activity policies are important, with tips for successfully following each policy and supporting resources.
